Poppies are worn to remember what those who have served Canada in times of war, armed conflict and peace stand for and what they have sacrificed for their country. To remind present and future generations of the human cost of war. Donation tins and poppies will also be placed in stores across Yorkton until November 11.

From 1 to 3 p.m. only, indoor trick or treat at participating retailers (will be indicated by balloons). Stop by the mural to get a treat bag (while supplies last). Open to children ages 2 to 12. Must be accompanied by an adults. Also crafts and coloring.
 » Yorkton Co-op Pumpkin WalkJaycee BeachThe pumpkin walk is a free event for families. Come out to Jaycee Beach and visit businesses booths to receive treats, walk down the trails of over 1100 pumpkins carved by local students and seniors within the community. Venture down a scary trail decorated to the theme of Urban Legends, receive free hot dogs and hot chocolate, watch entertainers, have your picture taken and enjoy fireworks at the end of the event. The event is from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and is open to all age groups.
